I am a global change ecologist. My main research interests are biodiversity, macroecology and global change, and I am particularly interested in how we can generalize biodiversity change patterns across realms, taxa and habitats. For this, I mostly use long-term temporal data to understand how species and communities respond to anthropogenic and environmental drivers from local to global scales. I am currently an Assistant Professor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Turku (Finland).
